Inclusion

Governments, industries and education providers have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring comprehensively inclusive education across the region, with a need to address disparities in connectivity and supporting infrastructure. There is also a growing momentum for education providers to advance the inclusion of SEND children (people of determination) both within the classroom and into the world of work.

Theme Objectives:

  • Explore the role assistive technologies play in the identification of learning needs and providing personalised learning for SEND students so that teachers can be confident in providing the right access and support systems
  • Improve student awareness of cultures outside their own through contextualised learning and sharing success stories across the global education community
  • Engage socially and economically disadvantaged groups in education through access to quality cross-phase education
