Why are you looking forward to Bett MEA 2019?

I am looking forward to engaging conversations and relevant displays. I would be happy to go back with one exciting idea that will keep me busy till the next BETT.

Who/what do you want to see at Bett MEA 2019?

I want to meet passionate people engaged in various domains of education. I also want to see the most recent developments in Education Technology.

What should participants expect to hear in your session / what topics will you cover?

I will speak about a real-world assignment that would show the importance of perseverance, teamwork, discipline, determination, stress management, innovation and effective communication in a tangible manner, so that even at school level students are equipped with skills beyond the marksheet.  

Why do you think global collaboration is so important in education?

To draw inspiration and share best practices. Technology has made the world “Glocal” and it will continue to become more and more connected. In these times, its imperative for education to teach the value of collaboration and tolerance.  

Who or what inspires you in education?

The possibilities of Impact of the work of every teacher on earth inspires me and makes me dream too.

Why is Bett MEA so important for educational transformation in the region?

BETT blurs Borders. It brings best practices from across the world and creates a platform to showcase and collaborate.

How does the world deal with the need for more teachers and new approaches to learning?

By empowering teachers, giving them more respect and importance in the society, policy and research.
