As CEO of Innoventures Education, a leading pre-K-12 international private education company based in Dubai, UAE, Poonam has been involved in the inception and the continued leadership of some of Dubai's most sought after schools and Nurseries. These institutions span diverse curriculum frameworks including International Baccalaureate, UK National Curriculum, American Common Core, Montessori and Early Years Foundation System. Innoventures Education’s schools and nurseries include Dubai International Academy at Emirates and Al Barsha, Collegiate American School, Raffles International School, Raffles World Academy, Raffles Nurseries, and Raffles Starters.

Poonam has been recognised as '’Education CEO of the Year' as well as ' Indian Female Entrepreneur of the Year' by high profile magazines from ITP. She has also served as President of Middle East IB Association and continues to be the Secretary-General of Dubai Private Schools Group.
