Philippa Wraithmell

Director of Digital Technology and Innovation Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, UAE

Philippa is Head of Digital Learning and an Apple Distinguished Educator 2019, with a goal of supporting meaningful integration of digital technology in education. She is an experienced educator who is skilled in Management, Teaching, Leadership, Public Speaking, an Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Apple Distinguished Educator.

She now teaches at TES winner “Outstanding school of the Year “, as part of the senior leadership team with a focus on enhancing the use of Technology and Digital Literacy across the school.

Philippa is a creative and innovative educator with a PGCE -Design and Technology focused in Textiles and Food from Nottingham Trent University. She has a strong knowledge of KS2 Computing curriculum and has taught all age groups from KS1-KS5 in Design, Technology & Engineering.

Philippa believes in education for all and outstanding use of meaningful technology.

Breakfast with Women who Innovate, Integrate and Educate (Wii.Edu)

Join us for a networking breakfast focused exclusively on female leadership. Led by our guests Philippa Wraithmell, Linda Parsons and Shazia Saeed, Women who Innovate, Integrate and Educate gives a voice to all women to collectively provide a forum that empowers women to pursue equitable leadership roles in their chosen specialisms for the benefit of their school and the people within it.

The objectives of Wii.Edu are:

  • To provide positive role models for all women in education.
  • To promote the network to others who may wish to join to provide support.
  • To provide positive role models for equality for our students in our community.
  • To help support and mentor all teachers through CPD events both digitally and physically.
