Learning through the time of a Pandemic: The student perspective

Schools around the world have had to face the pandemic around the world, dealing with transition through lockdown, distance learning, return to onsite learning under restrictions and beyond.  Victoria International School of Sharjah, a leading Australian/IB International school in the UAE made the transition to full distance learning with two weeks’ notice and then worked through the summer of 2020 to be ready to bring their students back onsite.  What was it like for the students though?  You will hear from two of our students who describe the challenges they faced and how the school and its students worked through the crisis to ensure the wellbeing and academic progress of all.
