Dr Hoda Mostafa

Director, Center for Learning and Teaching American University in Cairo

With a background in medical sciences, Dr Mostafa joined AUC in 2007 and focuses on educational development, digital education, learner experience and the integration of thinking skills in the classroom and beyond. She develops professional development workshops for faculty and teaching assistants, and works closely with faculty on course design and formative assessment of teaching and learning. She has also taught extensively in the core curriculum at AUC, directing a scientific thinking course as well as a creative thinking course initiative for freshman students. She is an active design thinking facilitator and coach, co-leading design thinking activities at AUC.
