Faisal has more than 16 years of experience in educational technology specialized in emerging learning technologies, instructional design and e-learning. He works as a Chairman of the Omani Society for Educational Technology and also as Head of Research and Development Department at Sultan Qaboos University.

Faisal is an advocate of educational technology in Oman who helps educational institutions in Oman to effectively implement and integrate technologies in learning environments. For many years, he managed to form strategic partnerships with local and international organizations to promote excellence in learning and teaching through the innovative and effective implementation of emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, interactive learning technologies, etc.

Faisal has a Master degree in Instructional Technology from Columbia University in the City of New York, USA.
